Princess Yachts Norway AS er en del av gruppen Princess Yachts Scandinavia med morselskapet Premium Yachts Scandinavia AB med marinaer på Vindön [HQ], København og Oslo er den tredje største distributøren over hele verden for engelskproduserte Princess Yachts og har blitt tildelt den prestisjetunge prisen ”Distributor of the Year 2021”.
Princess Yachts er et av de mest respekterte varemerker innen maritim industri. Fabrikken i Plymouth i sørvest England, med ca 2000 ansatte, har produsert motorbåter siden 1965. Det store utvalget av modeller er under konstant utvikling og strekker seg idag fra 40 til 95 fot, eller 13 til 29 meter.
VERFTET
I et lite industribygg på Newport Street i Plymouth ble Princess Yachts startet i 1965 av den tidligere sjøoffiseren David King, som fortsatt er engasjert i selskapet. Princess har utviklet seg til en av de mest fremgangsrike og avanserte motorbåtprodusenter i verden. Over 2400 personer bygger ca 250 båter i løpet av et år. Produksjonen foregår i fem fabrikker på et område som strekker seg over 100 000 kvm i og rundt Plymouth.
Princess Yachts var det første europeiske selskapet som ble tildelt ISO 14001 for sin kvalitetskontroll. Til og med konstruksjonsmetodene ligger i absolutt forkant av teknologien. Moderne komposittkonstruksjon og den seneste vakuuminjeksjons-teknikken har nesten helt eliminert utslipp på arbeidsplassen og i omgivelsene. Disse metodene gjør at båten får en lavere vekt som fører til redusert forbruk og bedre prestasjon i sjøen, samtidig som det innvendige volumet maksimeres. En stivere og sterkere konstruksjon tillater mer bruk av glass og åpne flater. Dette igjen fører til et naturlig innvendig lys og flotte panoramavinduer.
Den verdensberømte skipsdesigneren Bernard Olesinski har i over tretti år oversett skrogdesign og overbygg på alle nye Princess båter. Dette har kulminert i den supereffektive teknikken som benyttes på alle de siste modellene. Princess dype V-skrog gir jevn, sikker og behagelig gange for alle gjester og mannskap ombord.
Princess Yachts International ble i 2008 kjøpt av L Capital FCPR, en investeringsgruppe som tilhører LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) og Groupe Arnault. I 2023 ble majoriteten av Princess Yachts-aksjene kjøpt opp av det amerikanske private equity-selskapet KPS Capital Partners som forvalter KPS Special Situations Funds, en gruppe investeringsfond med mer enn USD 14,4 milliarder i eiendeler.

BUTIKK & UTSTILLINGSHALL
I våre utstillingshaller er nye Princess-yachter og brukte bruktbåter til salgs. Det er som en båtmesse innendørs deler av året. For de som skal spesifisere sin nye båt er det som regel satt pris på å kunne se ulike alternativer i virkeligheten og et besøk i messehallen kan gi verdifull inspirasjon. Vi selger også diverse tilbehør som Princess tilbehør, gummibåter og annet båttilbehør.
BÅTPLASSER OG MARINA
Besøkende ønskes velkommen til oss både til lands og til lands. I våre marinaer har vi båter til salgs og kan tilby båtplasser. Ved levering av både nye og brukte båter har vi opplæring og teknisk gjennomgang av båten sammen med ny eier og nye eiere er velkommen til å bo i havnen vår en stund dersom du vil benytte anledningen til å utforske skjærgården før du reiser hjem.
SERVICE OG VERKSTED
Våre mekanikere på verkstedet har omfattende kunnskap om rekondisjonering, service og ettermontering. Vi utfører plastreparasjoner, snekkerarbeid, service, motor- og girrenoveringer, maling og tapetsering mm. Vi kan klargjøre meglerbåter og tilbyr formidlingsoppdrag på de brukte båtene vi selger. Vi har mulighet til å gjøre ettermontering som ankervinsjer og Humphree.
VINTERLAGRING
Om du ikke bruker båten året rundt så er vinterlagring et trygt og godt alternativ. Båten vil da stå trygt innendørs i oppvarmet hall og du vil ikke trenge å være bekymret for om båten er fortøyd godt nok under vinterstormene. I tillegg vil man ha mindre ytre slitasje fra vær og vind. Når våren endelig kommer vil båten kunne gå rett på sjøen klar for en ny sommersesong. Vi organiserer service og vedlikehold i forbindelse med vinterlagringen.
VEDLIKEHOLD
Jevnlig service og vedlikehold av motorer og systemer om bord i båt er alfa og omega for å få et problemfritt og gledefylt båtliv. Selv om en båt ikke er helt ny så kan man få «nybåt» følelsen ved klargjøring, polering, rengjøring og vedlikehold av sin båt. Sammen går vi gjennom din båt og legger en plan for hva man ønsker utført. Da vil du kunne starte sesongen med «nybåt» følelsen.
TEKNISK SUPPORT
Når noe uforutsette inntreffer er det viktig for deg som båteier å kunne få hjelp. Våre kunder er alltid velkommen til å ta kontakt for profesjonell service og support. Noen ganger er det kun snakk om litt guiding for å løse et problem. Om problemet skulle være større så har vi eget mannskap som kan bistå, alternativ flinke samarbeidspartnere som vil hjelpe. Om du er på tur med båten så har vi egne Princess avdelinger i Norge, Sverige og Danmark som vil kunne hjelpe.

DIN GUIDE VED KJØP AV BÅT
Vurderer du kjøp av ny eller brukt båt. Vi hjelper deg gjerne med å finne den rette båten med det rette utstyret som passer for deg. I fellesskap finner vi ut hva som er viktig for at du skal kunne nyte båtlivet med den rette båten. Vi håndterer anskaffelses prosessen sammen med deg. Det er flere elementer som er viktig å ha med som for eksempel forsikring, finansiering, registrering i NIS-NOR, småbåtregisteret, etc.
EXTRA UTSTYR
Savner du utstyr på båten du ønsker å kjøpe? Vi gir gjerne tilbud på installasjon av ekstra utstyr. Om du ønsker oppgradering av navigasjonssystemer, automatisk trimplan, alarm, ryggekamera eller annet utstyr så hjelper vi gjerne.
TEKNISK GJENNOMGANG OG OPPLÆRING
I god tid før levering sjøsettes båten, og vi utfører en grundig funksjonskontroll og testkjøring for å sikre at alt om bord fungerer. Da er det tid for teknisk gjennomgang sammen med båtens nye eiere. Vi anbefaler at hele familien er til stede ved overleveringen, hvor vi sammen har en grundig test av båten og utstyret. Etter gjennomgang og en tilfredsstillende prøvekjøring er dere velkommen til å flytte ombord. Vi ønsker dere som gjest i marinaen den første natten. Det dukker vanligvis opp noen spørsmål som vi går gjennom neste dag.
FORMIDLING AV BÅT
Vi tilbyr megling av båter og har fokus på nyere brukte båter. Ved formidling av brukt båt vil vi se over båten og komme med anbefaling i forhold til klargjøring av båten for salg, for eksempel vask, polering, rens av teak og tilsvarende slik at den blir salgsklar. Så snart den er klargjort vil vi sette sammen presentasjonsmateriell for båten. Dette kan inkludere foto, video og annonsering. Vårt ønske er å ha deres båt i vår marina slik at vi kan yte best mulig service i forbindelse med visning av deres båt. På vårt anlegg har vi også servicemannskap med sterk kompetanse på båt og motor i tillegg til kran for eventuelt løft av båt.
FINANSIERING
Det finnes forskjellige aktører og tilbud på finansiering i forbindelse med båtkjøp. Kontakt oss så gir vi deg gjerne en kontakt i banken slik at de kan gi et tilbud.
FORSIKRING
Det finnes flere selskaper som tilbyr båtforsikringer. Vi gir gjerne kontakter til ulike forsikringsselskap slik at de kan gi tilbud slik at du kan finne det alternativet som passer deg best.
TRANSPORT
Ved anskaffelse av ny båt vil du som eier få god kjennskap og trygghet til båten ved å føre den selv. Om det ikke skulle være mulig så har vi gode forbindelser som sørger for transport i innland og utland av din båt om det skulle være på trailer eller med skipper.
